dc.description Abstract This paper attempts to bring elements of study on the interrelation of Intellectual Property Rights and Biodiversity and its effects in the Andean area. Like that arises from the world-system theory, the application of Intellectual Property Rights legitimizes misappropriation of knowledge and resources related to biodiversity, generating a clash of interests between the peripheral countries and from the center. en-US
dc.description En este documento se intenta aportar elementos de estudio sobre la interrelación de los Derechos de Propiedad Intelectual y la Biodiversidad y, sus efectos en el área andina. Al igual se plantea que desde la teoría del sistema – mundo, la aplicación de Derechos de Propiedad Intelectual legitiman la apropiación indebida de los conocimientos y recursos relacionados con la Biodiversidad, generando un choque de intereses entre los países periféricos y los del centro.     es-ES
