dc.description The purpose of the present reflection article is to present the strategies of integral development for the actors of the coffee production chain in the municipality of Buesaco-Nariño. These strategies arise as a result of the research in the region, titled "Study of the socioeconomic situation of the actors that make up the different links of the coffee production chain in the municipality of Buesaco-Nariño"; developed in agreement with Mariana University and Fundación Social (2016). The last research counted on the active participation of its protagonists, who identified as the central objective of the proposal to achieve the balance of the social and economic components that contribute to the increase of income and consequent improvement of the quality of life of the participants. Because, although it is true, the coffee production is a dynamic activity in the region that allows the articulation of the different links, there are critical factors that were able to identified through the study, where the marketers are in a more favorable socioeconomic situation than small producers who present difficult conditions that weaken their living conditions and leave little room to think about the Diversification of production through transformation. Taking into account that coffee is a basic product for the economy of the region, a comprehensive initiative was consolidated from 16 socioeconomic variables approached with the coffee and that they become a suitable guide for the intervention by governmental actors. The proposal was developed through the methodology of the logical framework and presents a matrix of strategic planning that can be an input for the determination of clear policies for the coffee sector of the region in the medium and long term that can be replicated in other regions. en-US
dc.description El presente artículo de reflexión tiene como propósito ofrecer algunas estrategias de desarrollo integral para los actores de la cadena productiva del café en el municipio de Buesaco, Nariño. Dichas estrategias surgen de la investigación desarrollada en la región, titulada “Estudio de la Situación Socioeconómica de los Actores que Conforman los Diferentes Eslabones de la Cadena Productiva del Café en el Municipio de Buesaco-Nariño”, desarrollada en convenio con la Universidad Mariana y la Fundación Social (2016). Dicha investigación contó con la participación de sus protagonistas, quienes identificaron como objetivo central lograr el equilibrio de los componentes social y económico que contribuyan al incremento de ingresos y mejoramiento de la calidad de vida de sus participantes. Para lograr ese objetivo se plantearon los apartados de desarrollo del argumento, visualizando el tema, los objetivos, la justificación, el problema y la metodología utilizada. Aquí, se presenta la discusión donde se reconoce la importancia de la educación y la investigación en contexto y, finalmente, se relacionan las conclusiones, los agradecimientos y las referencias bibliográficas. En el desarrollo del artículo se advierte que, si bien es cierto que la producción cafetera es una actividad dinámica en la región, existen factores críticos que hacen que las condiciones de vida de sus participantes sean diferentes, obstaculizando la transformación del producto. Por lo tanto, y teniendo en cuenta que el café es un bien básico en la economía de la región, se consolida una iniciativa integral contemplando 16 variables socioeconómicas que se convierten en una guía adecuada para la intervención por parte de los actores gubernamentales. La propuesta asume la metodología de marco lógico y presenta una matriz que se convierte en un insumo en la determinación de políticas para el sector cafetero de la región en el mediano y largo plazo, que puede replicarse en otras regiones. es-ES
