dc.description This article presents the experience of the armed conflict and its processing by the Educational Institution El Chairá José María Córdoba as one of the results of the investigation The armed conflict and the school: peace and reconciliation initiatives in Caquetá, whose objective was understand the ways in which three educational institutions in the department of Caquetá lived and processed the experience of the armed conflict and the peace and reconciliation initiatives derived from each of them. This research was a multiple case study in which semi-structured interviews, focus groups and memory work techniques were used. The data collected was processed using the categorical narrative analysis model. The analysis and subsequent research results regarding this educational institution indicate that: the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia -People's Army (FARC-EP) was the hegemonic armed group in the region due to the abandonment and absence of the State; that their financing depended on the economy of drugs, extortion and the “vaccines” they carried out; that the educational institution was turned into a heliport where those killed in combat were deposited, and that she was affected by school dropouts due to the recruitment of minors in the municipality. en-US
dc.description Este artículo presenta la experiencia del conflicto armado y su posterior tramitación por parte de la Institución Educativa El Chairá José María Córdoba, como uno de los resultados de la investigación: El conflicto armado y la escuela: iniciativas de paz y reconciliación en el Caquetá, cuyo objetivo fue comprender las formas como vivieron y tramitaron la experiencia del conflicto armado tres instituciones educativas del departamento del Caquetá y las iniciativas de paz y reconciliación derivadas de cada una de ellas. Su metodología fue un estudio de caso múltiple en el que se emplearon entrevistas semiestructuradas, grupos focales y técnicas del trabajo de la memoria. Los datos recogidos se procesaron mediante el modelo de análisis narrativo categorial. Los resultados señalan que las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia -Ejército del Pueblo (FARC-EP) fue el grupo alzado en armas hegemónico en la región, debido al abandono y ausencia del Estado; que su financiamiento dependió de la economía de las drogas, de las extorsiones y de las “vacunas” que realizaban; que la institución educativa fue convertida en helipuerto donde se depositaban los muertos en combate y, que ella fue afectada por la deserción escolar a causa del reclutamiento de menores en el municipio. es-ES
