dc.description In Colombia, since 1991, with the founding of its new Constitution and the legal rise of its guiding principle, human dignity has been treated by the Court in a vague manner. The reasons why this is so will be taught, offering in turn a more realistic perspective of the facts that can be considered part of the content of the value principle with the help of empirical-philosophical data on human behavior, not only in search of a more accurate and truthful understanding of the concepts handled by jurisprudence and constitutionalism, but also of a multidisciplinary study that contributes to the academy a deeper and more critical approach to the discussion. en-US
dc.description En Colombia, desde 1991, con la creación de su nueva Constitución, la interpretación jurídica del principio de dignidad humana se ha visto tratada por la Corte de manera vaga. Se enseñarán las razones de por qué esto es así, ofreciendo a su vez una perspectiva más realista de los hechos que pueden ser considerados parte del contenido del principio valor con ayuda de datos empírico-filosóficos sobre la conducta humana, no solo en busca de una comprensión más acertada y veraz de los conceptos manejados por la jurisprudencia y el constitucionalismo, sino también de un estudio multidisciplinar que aporte a la Academia un enfoque de discusión más profundo y crítico. es-ES
