dc.description The “evaluation diagnostic-formative” (ECDF), is known to be decisive for assignment of salary level of teachers from the official sector in Colombia, and it purpose is to design a formative diagnosis that allows the reflection about the teacher’s performance by the institutions and teachers involved. This paper aims to characterize and analyze the ECDF regarding the gap between the intensions of the normative and the practical effects of the evaluation, as well as presenting teacher’s experiences about the application. This approach is proposed though the study of the regulation and other technical documents, by which the evaluation was regulated, designed and developed, as well as semi-structured interviews of the teachers who has applied recently. We found that the objective of the evaluation is not entirely achieved, as the application and subsequent feedback has been deficient, by not providing teachers with clear and pertinent information about their pedagogical practices that allows a contribution to the transformation of their teaching. en-US
dc.description La Evaluación de Carácter Diagnóstico Formativo (ECDF) es conocida por ser decisoria para el ascenso y la reubicación salarial de los docentes del sector público regidos por el decreto 1278 de 2002, y tiene como propósito la realización de un diagnóstico formativo que permita la reflexión y el monitoreo del desempeño por parte de las instituciones y de los maestros involucrados. El presente escrito busca caracterizar y analizar la ECDF, dando cuenta de la brecha entre las intenciones de la normativa y los efectos prácticos de la evaluación, así como presentar las experiencias de algunos de los docentes que han participado de ella. Se propone una aproximación a través del estudio de las normativas y otros documentos técnicos por los cuales se reglamentó, diseñó y desarrolló la prueba, así como la realización de entrevistas para conocer la experiencia de los y las docentes frente a la misma. Se identifica que el objetivo de la prueba no es alcanzado satisfactoriamente, en tanto la aplicación y su posterior retroalimentación ha sido deficiente, al no brindar a los y las docentes información clara y pertinente sobre sus prácticas pedagógicas que garantice un aporte a la transformación de su labor. es-ES
