dc.description The purpose of this article is to identify possible actions in the law to forcefully counteract the growing environmental pollution that occurs daily in Colombia. In order to develop this objective, it was necessary to: 1) analyze the definition of environmental pollution and its relationship with human rights; 2) identify the harmful effects caused by environmental pollution and, as a last point, 3) evaluate how the Colombian State protects the right we have to live in a pollution-free environment and how this is reflected in current national and international legislation. en-US
dc.description El presente artículo tiene como propósito identificar posibles acciones en el derecho para contrarrestar de manera contundente la creciente contaminación ambiental que se presenta diariamente en Colombia. Para poder desarrollar este objetivo, fue necesario: 1) analizar la definición de contaminación ambiental y la relación de esta con los derechos humanos; 2) identificar los efectos dañinos que causa la contaminación ambiental y, como último punto, 3) evaluar cómo el Estado colombiano protege el derecho que tenemos a vivir en un ambiente libre de contaminación y cómo esto se ve reflejado en legislación nacional e internacional vigente. es-ES
