dc.description This article evidences the design of a tourist route for the central zone of the department of Huila, considering the inventory of tourist resources, the selection of the tourist attractions that make up the route, the service providers, the circuit layout, and the cultural tourist itinerary. The study had a mixed approach, a narrative and non-experimental cross-sectional, exploratory and descriptive design, where the beneficiary population are the inhabitants, contributors, territorial and governmental entities. The tourism inventory highlights nature tourism and ecotourism in 65 sites, with 195 608.7 hectares of land dedicated to agriculture as the predominant economic activity for coffee cultivation, cultural and religious tourism. The natural and cultural heritage tourist attractions selected for the route were 34 and 14; the service providers are registered in the Chamber of Commerce and the route’s circuit passes along Trunk 45, starting in the municipality of Gigante and ending in the municipality of Suaza. The itinerary was prepared in accordance with the route of the circuit and concludes with the need to prospect and promote tourism in the area. en-US
dc.description El presente artículo evidencia el diseño de una ruta turística para la zona centro del departamento del Huila, considerando el inventario de recursos turísticos, la selección de los atractivos turísticos que conforman la ruta, los prestadores de servicios, el trazado del circuito y el itinerario turístico cultural. El estudio tuvo un enfoque mixto, un diseño narrativo y no experimental transversal exploratorio y descriptivo, donde la población beneficiaria son los pobladores, aportantes, entes territoriales y gubernamentales. Dentro del inventario turístico se destaca el turismo de naturaleza y el ecoturismo en 65 sitios, con 195 608,7 hectáreas de tierras dedicadas a la agricultura como actividad económica predominante por el cultivo del café, el turismo cultural y religioso. Los atractivos turísticos naturales y de patrimonio cultural seleccionados para la ruta fueron 35 y 15; los prestadores de servicios están registrados en la Cámara de Comercio y el trazado del circuito de la ruta pasa por la troncal 45, inicia en el municipio de Gigante y finaliza en el municipio de Suaza. El itinerario se elaboró de acuerdo con el trazado del circuito y se concluye con la necesidad de prospectar y promover el emprendimiento turístico en la zona. es-ES
