dc.description During 2000-2001 monthly sampling in The Manzanares, Gaira, Cordoba and Toribio rivers, northwestern slope of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, were carried out in order to obtain knowledge about  physico-chemical, hydrological and biological characteristics.  A total of 83 genera included in 64 families of aquatic macroinvertebrates were collected.  This diversity it is result of environmental heterogeny and physicochemical and hydrological factors en-US
dc.description Durante los años 2000-2001 se realizaron muesteos mensuales en los rios  Manzanares, Gaira toribio y Córdoba , vertiente noroccidental de la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta  con miras a un reconocimiento sobre sus caracteristicas  fisicoquímicas, hidricas y biologicas registrandose un total de 83  generos pertenecientes a 64 familias  de macroinvertebrados acuaticos.  Esta diversidad es producto de la heterogeneidad de ambientes y de factores  fisico-quimicos e hidrologicos. es-ES
