dc.description The environmental education is a process that allows the individual to understand the relations of interdependence with the environment in the one that develops, is like that, since the reality bears biophysics in mind, social, political, economic in this respect it is necessary to generate in the company activities of valuation and respect for the environment. The environmental education is a dynamic and participative process orientated to the formation of critical and reflexive persons with aptitude to understand the environmental problematics of the local, regional and national context. In this frame the need is born of contextualized the labor that has become national in the construction of instruments that allow him the condition to look at the environmental education as a fundamental tool for the care of the natural resources and not as an isolated concept foreign to the community. In the present review their approaches the historical frame of the environmental education in Colombia his challenges, challenges and the way like are opening formative spaces and of projection for the suitable managing of the environment. In conclusion environmental education is a participatory process that must be born of the group in order to give management the natural resources of a region and community where professionals to do is oriental these processes in society. en-US
dc.description La educación ambiental es un proceso que le permite al individuo comprender las relaciones de interdependencia con el entorno en el que se desarrolla el cual tiene en cuenta la realidad biofísica, social, política; en este sentido, es fundamental generar en la sociedad actividades que promuevan la valoración y respeto por el ambiente. La educación ambiental debe ser dinámica, participativa, y estar orientada a la formación de personas críticas y reflexivas con capacidad de comprender la problemática ambiental desde el contexto local, regional y nacional. En este marco, nace la necesidad de contextualizar la labor que se ha hecho a nivel nacional en la construcción de instrumentos que le permitan al Estado mirar la educación ambiental como una herramienta fundamental para el cuidado de los recursos naturales, y no como un concepto aislado ajeno a la comunidad. En la presente revisión se aborda el marco histórico de la educación ambiental en Colombia sus desafíos, retos y la manera como se están abriendo espacios formativos y de proyección para el manejo adecuado del ambiente. En conclusión, la educación ambiental es un proceso participativo que debe nacer del colectivo con el fin de dar gestión a los recursos naturales propios de una región y comunidad, en donde el quehacer de los profesionales es orientar estos procesos en la sociedad. es-ES
