dc.description In education there is a broad reflection on didactic strategies that enable teaching-learning processes in the classroom; what is crucial in the face of discourses in Colombian education such as the ´culture of peace´, a complex issue. Therefore, the cinema is presented as an alternative that allows building an environment for learning and teaching. For these reasons, a reflection was made based on literature that addresses the construct of peace and its relationship with the discourses of 'teaching for the culture of peace', as well as the idea of ​​cinema as an educational alternative. For the methodological development in order to present an argued reflection, a search of bibliographic material was carried out, especially published articles that addressed research related to: 'peace', 'culture of peace', 'cinema and education'. As a result, it could be inferred that from the reading and analysis of the documents found, it was possible to argue the idea of ​​cinema as a valuable pedagogical tool that mobilizes favorable teaching-learning processes in the classroom, therefore, cinema is a resource that makes possible the teaching and the promotion of the construction of a culture of peace. en-US
dc.description En educación se presenta una amplia reflexión frente a estrategias didácticas que posibiliten procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje en el aula; lo que resulta crucial frente a discursos en la educación colombiana como lo es la ´cultura de paz´, un tema complejo. Por tanto, el cine se presenta como alternativa que permite construir un ambiente para el aprendizaje y la enseñanza. Por estas razones se realizó una reflexión con base en literatura que aborda al constructo de paz y su relación con los discursos de ´enseñanza para la cultura de paz´, así como la idea del cine como alternativa educativa. Para el desarrollo metodológico con el fin de presentar una reflexión argumentada fue realizada una búsqueda de material bibliográfico, especialmente artículos publicados que abordaran investigaciones relacionadas con: ´paz´, ´cultura de paz´, ´cine y educación´. Como resultado se pudo inferir que a partir de la lectura y análisis de los documentos hallados se logró argumentar la idea del cine como una valiosa herramienta pedagógica que moviliza procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje favorables en el aula, por lo tanto, el cine es un recurso que posibilita la enseñanza y el fomento de la construcción de cultura de paz. es-ES
