dc.description Abstract The emergence of the banana plantations and the movements are rhythmic processes in the history of Central America and the Caribbean Latin America during the first half of the twentieth century. What then is exposed is an overview of the organization and the agendas of the labor movement in Central America from a historiographical analysis. It is to weave the different approaches and cases in the region is contextualized in the interference of the United States and its economic and political interests in Central America, in a second period of liberal reform, and connections with a Modern State and Social. American historiography to this problem provides much more from economic and political approaches, scholars have been Americans and Costa Ricans who have been most interested in analyzing the problem from social and cultural perspectives. dc.description El surgimiento de las plantaciones bananeras y de los movimientos son procesos acompasados en la historia de Centroamérica y el Caribe de América Latina durante la primera mitad del Siglo XX. Lo que a continuación se expone es un panorama general sobre la organización y las agendas del movimiento obrero en Centroamérica desde un análisis historiográfico. Se trata de hilvanar los diferentes planteamientos y casos en la región; se contextualiza en la injerencia de los Estados Unidos y sus intereses económicos y políticos en Centroamérica, en un segundo periodo de la Reforma Liberal, y las conexiones con un Estado Moderno y Social. La historiografía centroamericana aporta mucho a esta problemática más desde enfoques económicos y políticos; han sido los académicos estadounidenses y costarricenses quienes más se han interesado por analizar la problemática desde perspectivas sociales y culturales. Ahora, tratamos de presentar un panorama comparativo, desde lo social.       es-ES
